A UK Led consortium will be competing with the US based Palantir to build the NHS' data service platform. The NHS manages data of amore than 30mn people. The NHS used Palantir's Foundry application during the Covid-19 outbreak to handle efficient resource allocation. A consortium of UK companies including Eclipse, Black pear and Voror Health technologies are expected to compete in this bidding as well. There are concerns about Palantir amassing a lot of personal data globally.
