Singapore's PayNow and India's Unified payments Interface (UPI) will now allow businesses and individuals to transfer funds instantly and securely. This linkage was first discussed in 2018. This shows the trend of UPI increasing in popularity beyond just the Indian borders, similar conversations have been going on with UAE, Nepal and Bhutan.
