UK increases defense spending

Current landscape:

• 10 Submarines and 71 vessels

• 3640 pieces of land combat equipment

• 556 fixed wing aircraft

• 287 rotary wing aircrafts

• 285 unmanned aircraft system

UK is also a part of the AUKUS a pact between UK-US-Australia which would allow submarines made from UK and US technologies being deployed by Australia which could potentially be patrolling in the South China sea. This pact would not be viewed positively by China amid rising tensions.
