Saudi Aramco is the world's largest Oil and Gas company. It is primarily held by the Saudi Government which controls 95% stake while the 5% is held by the public. Thanks to the high energy prices and demand it has managed to report a profit of $161bn in 2022.
To put this huge number into perspective it has managed to earn more than Shell, Chevron, Exxon and BP combined. Aramco has a major sway in the market as it controls 10% of the world's output. It also delivered a $19.2bn dividend in its 4th quarter.
This still makes Aramco the world's second largest publicly traded company, coming in after Apple.
